My cousin's wedding

Last weekend Dan & I drove to WI for my cousin's wedding. It was a blast! I got to see my mom, sister and niece. We had a rockin' time at the reception. Here are some pics. I didn't get very good ones of the bride and groom but that's what the professional photographer is for. Enjoy!!

20 years ago:
1. I was 9 years old in elementary school at Oak Street Elementary
2. I had a Def Leppard poster on my wall
3. All of my Barbies still had their hair
4. I had a boyfriend, Brian Griffin (if you consider a boyfriend some one you never talk to and never associate with)
5. I wore my long hair in a side ponytail


10 years ago:
1. I got my tongue pierced
2. I was living through my parent's divorce aftermath
3. I was doing a bunch of drugs and failing out of college
4. I lived in an awesome suite with 3 good friends
5. My love life was questionable and unsteady


5 years ago:
1. I moved to Omaha
2. I had no friends and family close by
3. I worked at a bank
4. My sister got engaged
5. I joined WW and lost a bunch of weight


3 years ago:
1. I quit the bank and got a lab job
2. I moved into a rental house with my fiance
3. I got to go home for sis Pi's wedding (maid of honor, thank you very much)
4. We had our 1st annual Mojito party
5. We started our initial wedding plans


1 year ago:
1. I got married in an art museum
2. My sister had a baby
3. I went to Vegas for my honeymoon and would kill to be back there
4. I got a new tattoo
5. The hubby got one too


This year:
1. I quit my job and got a new one at a production lab
2. I turned 29 and even when I'm 30 I'll still tell people I'm 29
3. I lost some more weight and am finally ok with who I am
4. I celebrated one year of wedded bliss
5. I went camping in a tent for the first time in 20 years(sleeping on the ground is over-rated!)


Yesterday:
1. I got a sunburn while drinking rum and diet Cokes
2. I did some laundry
3. I read some of a great book
4. I realized relaxing is ok
5. I ate ice cream and went to bed at 9pm


Today:
1. I worked on my tan while reading
2. I re-potted my indoor plants
3. I did some light grocery shopping
4. I realized I start a new job on Monday (AAAAAAHHHHH!!!)
5. I got in a fight with the husband(boo)


Tomorrow:
1. I will clean and do laundry(like every Saturday)
2. I will go shopping for business casual clothing for the new job
3. Maybe I'll lie out in the sun
4. I'll bake cookies (I made cookie dough last night)
5. I'll have a couple of drinks (hey, it's Saturday night)


Next year:
1. I will buy a house
2. We might try to get pregnant
3. I would like to visit the parents in NY
4. I'm going to turn 30
5. I'm going to cry about turning 30
